Comic Arcade

One of the last remaining comic/game shops in town has added an arcade. It's right in the middle of the store, right behind all of the tables set aside for tabletop gaming. I haven't yet played the games they have, but I did get some pictures.

The prices are $5 per hour or $10 for 'all day'. I'm not sure that I could spend more than an hour or two playing these games, unless I could get some friends together and we tried to play all the way through the X-Men game hiding out in the back.

It's a fun idea, though. It's a little weird to hear the games' attract modes going off when I'm browsing through books and such, but it's not that much weirder than wandering through the store and hearing bits and pieces of miscellaneous tabletop adventures happening all around me, I guess.
